Wonders of the World - Part 1 of 3

These next few weeks we have some special goodies. There is currently an internet vote to choose the top 7 existing wonders of the world out of 21 candidates. All these candidates are wonders in their own right. Coincidentally, the last two sets of mobile wallpapers are of candidates - the Statue of Liberty and the Great Wall of China. These next few weeks, we'll have mobile wallpapers of the other 19 candidates. This week it's the Acropolis in Athens, Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, the Eiffel Tower (which also appeared here in this post) in Paris, Saint Basil cathedral at the Kremlin in Moscow, the Incan city of Machu Picchu in Peru, and Neuschwanstein Castle (which also appeared here in this post) in Germany.

Getting Started

Hello, world. The idea of this blog is to share free mobile goodies, especially wallpapers. I will just put wallpaper images or other files here in the blog, and you have several ways of installing them, depending on your phone's capabilities:

BLUETOOTH/USB/Firewire/Card Reader
If your phone and PC support bluetooth (or can exchange files diretly via a wire or transfer of a memory card), you can just copy the image from this site to your PC and then to your phone.

WAP SITE (operator usage charges may apply)

The images shown in the blog are 176 pixels by 220 and in JPEG format. This works great on my phone, and it's one of the most common mobile screen sizes. If your phone requires a different size, I offer 3 others: 240x320, 128x160 and 120x160.

If you have an image, songs, or short video clip that you'd like to mobile-ize, and you give me permission to share them via the license below, please leave a comment with the URL of the image or content. Any content I use is entirely at my discretion (nothing immoral or illegal, please, and no spam) and may be modified by me. I'm more flexible about arrangements with recording artists, who can retain their copyright if they choose.
